Preparing for an MR examination

• you will be asked to remove jewellery, metal accessories, rings, trinkets, wristbands, eye-glasses and belts

• you will have to leave mobile phones, coins, keys and bank cards outside the examination room, because the MR device with its magnetic field can irreparably damage the magnetic strip of the bank card

• women will be asked not to apply mascara or eye shadows, as they may contain metal particles

• if your job entails metal processing, please inform the personnel before the MR examination
